Crown / Samducksa ST-30 Tension Grommet

Crown 300-series levers don’t use a metal return spring. Their centring tension comes from a silicone rubber ST grommet, and the number tells you how stiff it is: lower is softer, higher is stiffer. Most Crown levers ship with ST-35; ST-30 gives a medium tension feel.

Use it to tune how your lever feels, or to replace a grommet that has worn soft over time.

Tension guide

• ST-15, ST-20, ST-25: low
• ST-30, ST-35: medium (ST-35 is the common stock grommet)
• ST-45: high
• ST-50: extra high
